As you are all aware the start of the 2014 U12 G0-Game season kicks off tomorrow night Tuesday 14th April with the 1st round of Football.
This year sees a change in the format at the U12 grade with a league/knockout system being used under the Go-Games system but with modified rules . These changes have been agreed at a County Board meeting on the 17th February but , never the less, rule changes can and will lead to confusion with Managers, Referees, Players and supporters . To avoid any confusion and arguments the modified rules are listed below.
They are based on the Go-Games ethos which states that all panel members must participate in the game. The middle 15 minute non-scoring period has been included in the match duration to assist managers in this regard.
It is vital before your match tomorrow night Tuesday 15th April that you
1 Inform the Manager of your team of the rules listed below
2 That the managers of both teams talk to the Referee before the game to discuss the rules with him .
3 Inform parents etc where at all possible of the rule changes
