2. That the decision to divide the intermediate hurling and football championship into Intermediate A and Intermediate B be rescinded and be replaced with a single intermediate championship comprising twenty-four teams

3. That the Intermediate hurling and football championship comprise twenty-four teams divided into four groups of six teams, with the top four teams in each group qualifying for the knock out stages of the championship and the remaining eight teams competing to retain their status.

4. Proposal for Intermediate Football and Hurling Championship 2012
24 teams compete – 4 groups of 6.
The 12 teams who were due to play Intermediate football/hurling be seeded 1,2 and 3 in each group.
The 12 teams who were due to play Intermediate ‘B’ football/hurling be seeded 4,5 and 6 in each group.
Top team in each group qualify for quarter finals.
2nd and 3rd team in each group qualify for play off round (Team which finishes second plays a team which finishes third without playing team from own group).
Quarter finals – Group winners seeded to play a play-off winner (cannot play a team from own group).
Semi finals open draw.
Bottom team in each group play off in Relegation Semi finals (open draw). Losers play in Relegation Final. Loser relegated.

5. In senior hurling and football the finalists are seeded number 1 in each group. The beaten semi-finalists are seeded number 2 in each group. The remaining places are filled by way of an open draw.
In the intermediate hurling and football the beaten finalists and the 1 relegated senior teams are seeded and the remaining places are filled by way of an open draw.

District Teams
6. That each district in the county select a team from other than senior graded players to participate in the senior hurling and football championship commencing in 2012.
The County Board shall determine the manner of the inclusion of the district team within the championship format, under the power of Rule 6.22, at the first County board meeting after convention and shall accept appropriate motions from clubs to be received a week beforehand.
A district team will not that the right to represent Wexford in the Leinster Club Championship.

7. That the County Board organise countywide district senior hurling and football competitions confined to Intermediate and Junior Clubs to be played in 2012 with a view that in 2013 the winners of that years 2013 competition be allowed to participate in the Senior Hurling and Football Championship.

8. To introduce the 4 district teams into a senior competition in both hurling and football, in order that junior hurlers and footballers may be afforded the opportunity to play at senior level with the district and junior with their clubs.

Junior C’ship.
9. The Junior C championship in both Hurling and Football be run in the same format at Senior and Intermediate.

10. In the Championship year 2013 for Hurling and Football that the remaining teams in Junior C grade return to the district Junior Championship thus abolishing the Junior C Championship. The winner of 2012 Junior C Championship will be promoted to Junior Championship (present name) 2013 and the relegated teams will play in the Junior D (present name) championship 2013.

11. That All County Leagues, in all divisions, be divided geographically into two groups and seeded at the discretion of the CCCC and that the winners of each group play the league final.

12. The CCC Committee would like to propose the following motion pertaining to the forthcoming leagues: That the number of teams in each League Division be reduced from 8 to 6.

13. That the compulsory promotion of the winners of Roinn 1 Hurling and Football be changed to giving the power to the County Regrading Committee to promote or regrade as they see fit.

15. If you play away in U21 Championship and you draw the same team the following year you automatically get a home draw.

16. That provisional dates for the first two rounds of adult championship, in both hurling and football, be fixed and publicised by the 31st January each year.

17. That a fixtures list for all league group games in both hurling and football be made available either in print or online at least two weeks prior to commencement of such competitions.

Pitch Rental Fee
18. Minimum rent of pitch for neutral Championship match is €50 or 10% of the gate, to be paid by County Board to the Club Secretary.
