Full schedule of 2012 coach development courses published.
The 2012 coaching plan has just been published, setting out Wexford GAA’s determination to encourage and support the development of the stars of the future and get the county back to its rightful position as a leading light in hurling and football.  The programme is part of the counties €750,000 annual investment in coaching and games development – an area which County Chairman Diarmuid Deveraux recently pledged, to retain even in the face of expenditure reductions. The primary focus of this initiative is to upskill coaches and mentors at club level, ensuring they are equipped with the latest techniques to better enable them to help players enjoy our games and while reaching their full potential.
Free places
The plan will see a total of 12 courses, at Foundation and Level 1 aimed at coaches at Youth and Adult level, taking place over 2012. As part of the Action Plan, 10 free places will be allocated per Club over a 2 year period. These courses are also available to any other member at a fee of €100.00 per person.
Closing dates
Club Adult and Underage Committees are urged to take this opportunity to up skill their coaches and mentors and forward on nominations via email  to Marion Doyle by the following dates:
Starting 30th January Level One Youth/Adult Course ( apply by 24st January 2012)
All other dates (by 1st February 2012)
