Newly appointed Wexford Minor Football Manager Paul McLoughlin got his team off to a wining start last night under-lights in Bellefield in the Leinster GAA Minor Football League against Carlow.
Wexford got off to a slow start with Carlow leading on the scoreboard for the first quarter but the young wexford men soon found there stride with there on form forwards and finished the first half with a lead of 7 points to 5. Carlow opened the score in the second half with two points making things level,this was answered by a goal from Wexford by wing forward Gavin Stamp this left the pathway for Wexford to do the remaining scoring ontill the final whistle giving Wexford a deserving win of 1-13 to 0-8 points
