Motions for Special Congress
A discussion was held in respect of the motions for Special Congress. It was agreed that Wexford GAA should support the motions in respect of the changes to Development Officer and Safety Officer positions, the Audit and Risk Committee, the change to the rule regarding walkovers in respect of match suspensions and the motions in respect of World GAA.
There was a full discussion in respect of the proposals for the Intercounty Football Championships. It was noted that Shane Roche, Senior Football Manager, and our Wexford Senior Football Team preferred option for 2022 is Proposal B. There was clear support from Club delegates for the need for change to the status quo. It was agreed that Wexford GAA’s delegates to Special Congress should consider the debate on Saturday and any proposed amendments and vote in the interest of change and Wexford GAA.
