Rathoath GAA are inviting Wexford Intermediate clubs to participate in the Ratoath All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling 11s competition which will have teams participating from all of Ireland.
The Competition will take place in line with the Kilmacud Crokes and St Jude’s competitions on the eve of the All-Ireland Hurling final, being held this year on Saturday, September 7th in Ratoath, Co Meath.
Following on from the inaugural tournament in 2009, last year’s was the biggest and best so far and received a glowing endorsement from current president Liam O’Neill. This officially sanctioned hurling tournament is fast establishing itself as one of the most prestigious competitions in the club calendar. Top class competitive hurling is guaranteed and we hope that your club will come and participate.
• Teams will play off on a league basis ensuring at least three games for every team.
• The entry fee is €300 per team. This includes a full hot meal for 17 people (panel of 15 players plus 2 mentors). Please note that full catering facilities are available on the day and extra tickets can be purchased. Breakfast is also available that morning.
