Wexford GAA Supporters Club and the Friends of Wexford General Hospital have come together to organise an event for all the family – an 8km ‘Walk for Health.’
Supported by South East Radio, the event takes place on Sunday 21st July with all proceeds being shared between the Supporters Club – funding underage coaching – and Wexford Hospital.
The Walk starts from Wexford GAA Park at 11 am sharp so get there early and get registered.

The walk will be around Wexford town, Through Clonard, Whitemills Industrial Estate, along the R733 down Distillary Road to the Quays. Up the Boardwalk by the Commodore Barry Monument, then cross back through The Bull Ring, Main Street to The Nickey Rackard Statue at Selskar Square, Then out through Westgate, Hill Street, and Newtown Road to the Hospital where we turn left back through Coolcotts and return to Wexford Park.
A fairly gentle 8km walk with little hills so a great chance for everyone of all age groups to join in, get fit and raise money for Health, both prevention and cure.
