Well well well………..
Yes folks surprise surprise we have drawn LONGFORD AWAY in the All Ireland Qualifier Round 2 made live on TV3 this morning.
We have been in the same group in the NFL in recent years, winning promotion together, playing Div 3 Final, then a few weeks later played in the Leinster Championship which ended in a draw, played the replay, played them in NFL Div 2 this year were relegated together and now travel up again to play them in the qualifier.
All but this years NFL game were very close tight affairs (Wexford almost staged a dramatic come back in the NFL Div 3 final) so on July 13th or 14th we engage once more.
Not sure of any historical connections between these two Clans (send us on any you know of) but we are certainly making our own bit of history in the 21st century.
