On Friday 14th Feb 2014 Wexford Gaels will gather together at the Talbot Hotel Wexford, to pay tribute to the men and women of the GAA who have brought distinction and glory to their county in 2013.
The prestigious event organised by the Wexford Supporters Club is being generously sponsored by Glen Fuels distributors of home and commercial heating oil throughout counties Wicklow and Wexford. Company Director Alan Keyes says that he is privileged to be associated with the marvellous sportsmen and women of County Wexford for the second year running and is delighted to have the opportunity to be part of this very special Awards Ceremony honouring Leinster U/21 Hurling Champions and All Ireland Ladies Football runners up.
The special guest for the occasion is former Kilkenny hurler DJ Carey who will present the Leinster U/21 Hurling Medals and Ladies Football All Ireland runners up medals.
5 Nominations have been submitted in each category – Senior Hurling and Football, U/21 Hurling and Football, Camogie, Ladies Football and Handball by an independent Panel of Judges comprised from local Press and Media.
One Award will be made in each of the 5 categories – voting will be open to the public and can be done online on the following sites :
