A Repeat of lasts year’s Minor Football Division 1 Final was the end result last night in Taghmon when the Current Champions Shelmaliers had to fight hard to over come a strong Sarsfields side by a two point margin of 2-8 to 12 points
The other Semi Final despite the scoreline seen a much tighter battle between last year’s finalists Starlights and this years favorites Crossabeg/Ballymurn. Crossabeg looked in control for most of the first half until the Enniscorthy town team found there momentum and found the oppositions net on 5 occasions which on the final whistle resulted in a 5-9 to 2-8 win and a final spot in this years Senior Football Final Curtain Raiser .Best of Luck to both teams.
