Leinster Club intermediate hurling semi-final Kiltale (Meath) 2-12 3-12 Oylegate-Glenbrien (Wexford), Pairc Tailteann
Oylegate are now becoming masters of the late, late comeback and as they did in the county final and the replay versus HWH Bunclody, they rallied to overcome a first half deficit of 10 points, which saw them trail at one stage Kiltale 2-6 Oylegate-Glenbrien 0-2.
As the second half progressed Kiltale stalled and the Wexford men clawed their way back and as the game ticked into the final minutes they trailed by just 3 points. It was then when it looked as though the clock would beat Oylegate that the stylish Padraig Doran popped up with a third goal on the 59th minute to make it 2-12 Kiltale to 3-09, they were level– it was game on! Fergal Doran followed up with a point from midfield to put Oylegate into the lead for the first time, they sloted over another right before the final whistle to secure a two point win much to the delight of the vocal travelling support.
In the final they will play either the Dublin champions Oliver Plunketts (club of Dublin footballers Alan and Bernard Brogan) or the Kilkenny champions (Clara or St Patricks) on 25th of November.
