2013 Championship Motions
Below are the motions received so far for consideration at next weeks county board meeting.
That Under 21 Hurling Championship start on St.Patrick’s weekend and played to a conclusion on a knockout basis.
That Under 21 Football start first weekend of September or earlier at the discretion of the CCC Committee and played to a conclusion on a knockout basis.
Open Draw for all Championships
Two teams be relegated from Junior Hurling if required to form two groups of six for the following years Championship.
Two teams be relegated from Junior A Hurling if required to form two groups of six in the following years Championship.
CCC Committee
That Under 21 Championships be played on a League Basis with two groups in each Division. Top two teams in each group to contest County Semi-Final. Hurling to be played in Mar, April & May. Football in Sep, Oct & Nov.
That the All County Hurling Leagues be organised based on groups the same as championship (12 Teams per League) but with each team playing only those teams, in the league section in the opposite group of the championship. (In effect any team doesn’t play a team in the league section that they are due to play in the Championship). Top two teams to play in semi-finals.
