Wexford senior footballers defeated Wicklow in the Bord Na Mona O’Byrne Cup this afternoon in Gorey on a scoreline of 2-15 to 2-11
Horeswoods Declan Murphy (pictured) topped the scoring charts with 1-3 while Adamstown’s Paudie Barden scroed the other goal.
Plenty of players have had a chance to impress new manager David Power in this series of games and there is great optimism in the squad for the forthcoming National Football League.
