Well the fixtures have been made and its not easy for Wexford GAA supporters.
Next Saturday Wexford football play Longford in Pearse Park, Longford at 2pm in the All Ireland football qualifier Round 2.
But
At 5pm in Semple Stadium Thurles Wexford Senior Hurlers play Clare in the Phase III All-Ireland Hurling Championship . This will be the curtain raiser for the Waterford Kilkenny game at 7pm .
The timing of 5pm means that even if you wanted to (and could afford it) its neigh on impossible to get to both venues park your car and get in to support both teams.
Lee Chin who has played in all our championship game in both hurling and football this summer will not be able to do so next Saturday.
But we hope that in Lee’s other game this week, The Leinster U21 Hurling final on Wednesday evening at 7.30 in Wexford Park when Wexford, captained by Lee, take on Kilkenny, that supporters will come out and cheer the Boys of Wexford on home ground.
