Today was an uplifting day to be a Wexford supporter as our Senior Hurlers, our Combined Colleges Hurling team and the Camoige girls of Loreto Wexford. The seniors ran out 25 point victors over the students of NUIG in Gorey, getting their Bord na Mona Walsh Cup campaign off to a winning start.
Meanwhile in Bunclody, the new Wexford Combined Colleges team under manager Paul Carley got off to a flying start overcoming Dublin South by 27 points. Earlier in the day the Loreto Wexford girls won the Leinster B Camogie final.
