After only losing out on a late score to Westmeath and seen off Carlow and a dramatic win over Louth Wexford Minor Football Squad exited the Leinster Minor Football Championship against a stronger Dublin side today 17 points to 9, Despite a good first half performance and some great indevidual displays Wexford couldint find the scores to match Dublin and it was the last Quater of the game when Dublin pulled away to win by an 8point Margin. It was another brave performance from this young Wexford side and this season can be seen as a very progressive year for Wexford Minor Football.
