A Heartbreaking extra time 1 point defeat for our Minor hurlers by All Ireland Champions Kilkenny today, Wexford put in a big performance and led for the majority of the 60 minutes of normal time until Andrew Gaffney’ levelling free in extra time leaving it 1-13 each. Wexford still fought hard in extra time and it only took 1 point from Kilkenny’s half forward (former Wexford hurler James O Connor’s son)Daniel O Connor to bring a result to a nail biting game.
