Wexford LGF Guinness World Record Attempt takes place in Páirc Charman, Wexford on Monday 1st August 2016 @ 11am.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a Guinness World Record Attempt and each participant will receive a cert stating so.
Entry Fee €5 per person for all U16, €10 per person for all others. Participants can be male or female (minimum age is 10 years there is no maximum age limit)
Participants do not need to be members of LGFA. Teams can be mixed; male & fema…le , young & old. All team entries’ on the official team sheet together with the entry fee to be sent to Yvonne Flynn. Wexford L.G.F. Secretary Ballynaleck, Crossabeg, Co. Wexford by Sunday 24th July
There will lots of other fun and games on the day: Bouncy Castle, Bottle Stall etc so please spread the word and lets all make sure this is a great day for Wexford Ladies Gaelic Football.
The record at the moment is 399 we are looking for 1000 people, The criteria is each player plays 10 mins and must touch the ball once, it will be 15 a side. The game will be played under the Ladies Football Rules for both men and women.
Club Incentive
For every 15 people that a club puts forward to participate in the Guinness World Record Attempt, they will be entered into a draw for €1000 i.e if your clubs enters 60 people that is 4 chances to win the €1000. We need ALL CLUBS to get involved. This event has the potential to be a great day for Wexford ladies Football and all clubs in our county.
