Wexford GAA TV is breaking new ground for GAA County Boards when it launches its own TV programme this Friday night. We will be broadcasting a half hour pilot show on the Showcase 2 channel which can be found in the Sky platform on channel 192 and on FreeSat on Channel 402. The programme will go live at 10pm on Friday 13th of June.
The show will feature Wexford hurling, football and camogie, we will preview the Leinster Senior Hurling clash of Wexford and Dublin, as well as looking back at the footballers defeat of Longford in the Leinster Championship as well as the camogie girls superb Leinster final victory over Kilkenny on Sunday.
The show is fronted by 7 time camogie All Star Kate Kelly and Wexford ladies football star Leona Tector, and stars from Wexford’s last senior All Ireland victory, Tom Dempsey and Rory McCarthy.
This new venture into the world of television follows on from the success of over a year’s broadcasting on our own YouTube Channel.

Since 2012 Wexford GAA has been broadcasting live commentary from club games over the internet with budding star Michael Dwyer at the microphone and Wexford Park became the first stadium in Ireland to provide WiFi free to supporters in conjunction with partner Carnsore Broadband.
The team behind these new ventures is led by Wexford GAA PRO Rory Murphy along with Lar Sutton and Joe Carroll.
