Wexford GAA wishes to extend its sympathies on behalf of the entire Gaelic Games community in the county to the families of Nicola Furlong (21) of Curracloe and Caroline Cleary (30) Tagoat both of whom died tragically recently.
Nicola who was brutally murdered while studying in Japan, was from a family steeped in Wexford GAA and was a member of her local Shelmaliers club. Caroline, who died having been stuck by an out of control rally car in Cavan, was also closely associated with Wexford GAA and many would know her from working as a steward in Wexford Park.
The thoughts of the county are with both families at this awful time.
