Over the last number of weeks Wexford GAA have been developing a new Model Óg Academy. This new initiative was set up to introduce our under 13 players to formal inter-county training. The Academy is also being used to identify potential players for county under 14 squad which begins in January. To date we have completed two training sessions in Ferns. Gerry Moran who is coordinating this initiative is delighted with the success of the academy so far with over 80 players attending each of the session.
Training continues next Sunday the 25th of October in Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre Of Excellence.
The following is the training timetable:
- South/Mid Clubs: Registration: 9.15 am for training at 9.30 am
- West Clubs: Registration: 10.15 am for training at 10.30 am
- North Clubs: Registration: 11.15 am for training at 11.30 am
