The ground hurling skills have been fine tuned again this year in preparation for might of the MacDonalds, MacKechans and MacPhees of Scotland in the 2nd Hurling-Shinty International.
After last years hugely successful gathering of the two sporting organisations in Killurin WEXFORD UNDER-17s will hope to make it two wins in a row in O Kennedy Pk New Ross on Monday next at 7.30 p.m. The combined might of the purple and gold squads from the successful Tony Doran tournament on June Bank holiday weekend will take on the pick of 12 Scottish clubs drawn from as far north as the Isle of Skye. So we ask again for the same huge support as last year to cheer on Wexford and welcome the Scots to the South East.
