The Sherry Fitzgerald Radford Tintern Abbey Trail Run @11am Sunday 14 th October 2018 at Tintern Abbey,
Due to popular demand Gusserane Coiste na nÓg are pleased to announce the 5th staging of the Sherry Fitzgerald Radford Tintern Run, in the medieval grounds of Tintern Abbey on Sunday 14th October 2018 @ 11:00am.
There are 2 courses to choose from – 5Km and 8Km.
Both courses capture the best of the stunning trails that surround Tintern Abbey. The event caters for all levels of fitness, from Elite runner to casual walker.
For this run we have modified and substantially changed both courses, parts of which have never been run before.
Registration can be done by logging onto the Tintern Run Facebook page or log onto www.active.com you can also register on the day from 10am. The race commences at 11am sharp. This is the 5th occasion this event has been held and the participation rate has increased sharply.
· Entry fee is €10 for all persons over 16 years of age.
· €5 for U16’s
· There is a family rate available of €25 for 2 adults and 2+U16’s.
· Complementary refreshments are available in the registration marque during the event.
· Secure car parking in the Boormalt compound (concrete yard) which will be stewarded until all vehicles are left.
We would ask all people attending to follow Parking signs in the interest of road safety. Please allow yourself plenty of time as car aprk is about 5-10 mins walk from registration marque.
