The Shelmalier GAA Clubs Annual Field Day takes place in Hollymount on Sunday next 19th August 2012. The field day has all the usual attractions including duck racing, bottle stall, produce stall, face painting, kids sports and much much more for the whole family. However, this years event also has Wexford’s very first live sheep racing where you can place your bets on your favourite animal and Wexford’s very first egg throwing or pitching competition which involves partners and teams carefully throwing or pitching a raw egg over a distance without fracturing the egg.
So don’t miss this great day out for people of all ages.
The Killenny and Tipperary hurling match will be shown live at the grounds.
