Our two under 14, under 15 and under 16 football academy squads were involved in three different blitzes last weekend. The following are the results of all the blitzes and the details of the squads’ training plan for the weekend:
Under 14 Wexford (South)
Wexford 2 -6 v Longford 2-5
Wexford 4 -5 v Offaly 0 – 5
Wexford 2 – 6 v Tipperary 2 – 3
Under 14 Wexford (North)
Wexford 4 – 14 v Longford 1 – 04
Wexford 5 – 10 v Offaly 5 – 08
Wexford 3 – 11 v Tipperary 3 – 01
Wexford Under 14 South are continuing their training this weekend on Sunday the 24th at 10.15 am in Gusserane GAA Club.
Our Under 14 North squad are taking a break this weekend and will return to training next weekend.
Under 15:
Wexford 5 – 10 v Limerick 1 – 02
Wexford 3 – 05 v Wicklow 1 – 02
The under 15 squad trained Sunday morning where the management team in cooperation with the Wexford coaching office carried out appropriate fitness tests with the squad.
Under 16:
Wexford 2 – 09 v Tipperary 0 – 05
Wexford 3 – 14 v Limerick 1 – 05
Our under 16 team are taking this weekend off and will return to training next weekend.
