Jason Ryan submitted his resignation as Co Senior football manager to Wexford Co Board last night with immediate effect.
The football advisory committee under Chairman Sheamus Fitzhenry, will now start the search for his successor.
Jason brought Wexford football to new heights in his five year term including an All Ireland Semi Final in 2008 and two Leinster finals.
He will be a hard act to follow.
