The 45 nominees for the 2012 GAA GPA football All Stars were announced this morning and Wexford’s flying wing back Adrian ‘Panther’ Flynn was named in the half back line.
The nomination is a well-deserved one following Adrian’s storming performances in the Leinster Championship where memorably he scored five points from wing-back against Longford. Adrian has played much of his club football with Gussarane in the forwards and it’s a testament to his versatility that he was able to adapt to the role he plays for Wexford.
The 2012 All Star football team will be announced on Wednesday, October 24th, jointly presented by the GAA and the Gaelic Players Association (GPA), and sponsored by Opel. The All Star award ceremony will take place that Friday evening, October 26th.
