Last Saturday over 500 young footballers ascended on Halo Tiles Ferns Centre of Excellence for another U9 GAA Go Games blitz, in what would have been one of the players first opportunities to play in the Wexford GAA centre of excellence.
As part of the participation plan GDA and lead coordinator Diarmuid Byrne said “Their is great excitement on these days. Getting the opportunity to play in one of the large county grounds is a great day out and it gives clubs the chance to play against teams they may not regularly play”
GAA Go Games aims give every child a go when playing while ensuring players learn through maximum touches of the ball and positive coach reinforcement. More details on future games can be seen here : http://www.wexfordgaa.ie/coiste-na-nog/coachinggogames/
