FutureFit are working with the GAA and Electric Ireland on EnergyFit, a programme to help clubs and facilities reduce their energy bills by an average of €3,000 per annum. Savings are achieved through better energy management and by securing SEAI funding to retrofit more energy efficient equipment (boilers, flood lights, indoor lighting, refrigeration, solar etc.) Funding of up to 50% is available on eligible costs.
The program costs €1,500 and includes an energy assessment, e-map training, real time energy monitoring and completion of a funding application as required. Programme costs can be recouped for clubs that complete all project milestones.
Club retrofits cost on average about €20,000 and clubs must be able to prove that they have sufficient funds available to pay 100% of the costs upfront. All works must be completed by October 31st. SEAI funding will be distributed before year end. Check out www.futurefit.ie to see what we did with clubs last year. FutureFit also charge 7% of project costs where the funding application is successful and the works are carried out.

If you think your club could benefit from EnergyFit please complete the following or call me directly.
Tell us about your clubs energy profile at http://survey.futurefit.ie/survey and answer all questions. Please note that it will be helpful to know the following ahead of clicking on the link:
1. Clubs annual electricity, gas, oil usage cost and consumption (kWhr’s) – so have bills handy
2. Clubs turnover – we need this to estimate energy cost as a % of club turnover.
3. Number of club members – we need this to understand the amount of energy used per member
4. Details of existing energy using equipment such as floodlighting etc.
Online Bills – please send me log in details for your online electricity / gas bills if you have them set up. If not then please send me a photo or scan of one of your bills. I’ll use the number from the top of the bill to set up an online account for the club (you will have passwords etc.) Online bills are essential to profiling the clubs energy use in order to make savings.
5. Please print the attached LOA onto club letterhead so we can tender the market for better energy prices for the club
6. Estimate of savings / costs – We’ll use the data provided to determine a basic business case for the clubs participation in EnergyFit
7. You forward a PO and we get started.
