I would like to bring to your attention the developments in the hurling club in Dublin City University (DCU). Hurling in DCU has been developing each year for the past number of years culminating in promotion to Fresher Division 1 in 2009 and to the Fitzgibbon Cup competitions in 2010. Promotion to the Fitzgibbon Cup has given the club the opportunity to establish itself as a serious contender in Third Level hurling in Ireland. We are currently at the beginning of what promises to be a very exciting period for DCU Hurling Club and there has never been a better time to get involved.
The aim of this Information package is to promote the Sport Scholarship Programme in DCU. I would be delighted if you could pass this information on to prospective students who might be interested in attending an academic course in DCU and would be interested in joining the DCU Hurling team. Additional information can be found on the club website; www.dcugaa.ie/node/2.
Please find enclosed an Elite Sport leaflet, a DCU Hurling Club Information leaflet and a Sport Scholarship Application Form.
