Wexford Senior Hurling Manager Liam Dunne and his selectors, Murty Dempsey and Tomás Codd have named their side to play Dublin this Saturday evening in the Leinster Hurling Championship Quarter Final.
The team features experienced players including Ciarán Kenny who starts at Corner Back, Richie Kehoe who mans the critical Centre Back position and David Redmond in the Half Forward line. Some newer faces include Andrew Shore who is chosen at Full Back and Lee Chin who joins Harry Kehoe at Centre Field. Interestingly Éanna Martin, who has in the past played in goal for Wexford starts at Wing Back with Niall Breen of Tara Rocks between the posts.
The game throws in at 7pm in Wexford Park, this Saturday 8th of June. We’re calling on all our supporters to come along and cheer the lads on for what we all hope will be another special evening in Wexford Park.
