Wexford now joins Dublin, Kildare and Louth in Leinster MFC semi-final draw on Tuesday.
Wexford left Netwatch Cullen Park Curtain Raiser with a 1-12 to 2-8 victory over hosts Carlow. Wexford finished the first-half 0-8 to 0-4 in front and a Jamie Myler (penalty) widened the gap to 2-9 to 0-6 with 13 minutes left on to clock, but Carlow refused to throw in the towel and two Jordan Morrissey goals brought them right back into contention but Wexford held possession to see it out
