St Patrick’s Day is a celebration of all things Irish and this year, Wexford is the place to be with what promises to be a weekend long festival of sport. To start Wexford Race Course hosts it’s first meeting of the year on the 17th and then on Sunday 18th March Wexford Park is the venue for an exciting Hurling and Football doubleheader.
The Wexford footballers will face Roscommon while the hurlers will take on old foes Limerick. This promises to be a great days entertainment for Wexford fans of all ages and its not just on the field that supporters are in for a treat as around the ground, Wexford’s own Buí Bolg, sponsored by Ferrybank Motors, will be entertaining supporters, we’ll have face painting for children and a competition for the best dressed Wexford supporter and much, much more!
Let’s get behind our teams and be part of their drive to take Wexford GAA back to the top table once again.
