The U15 Hurling squad comprises 43 players. The aim this year was to build on the work done last year. The focus was on tactical development of the players and a lot of work on this has been done through performance analysis and reviews of the games they have played. There was also a focus on technical development and challenging the boys on an individual basis. In conjunction with the Athletic development department under the guidance of Eoin Devine O’Grady the lads have put in huge work and the results are very encouraging. The lads have played a number of matches both challenge matches and in the main competitions. The U15’s are divided into A and B teams and both teams have qualified for their respective semi-finals. The A team will play Cork in the Arrabawn tournament, and the B team will play Meath in the John Doyle tournament which will both take place in Tipperary.
