The result keeps both sides in the hunt for promotion with Limerick facing a trip to Sligo next weekend knowing a win will end their four year stay in Division 4.
Wexford, meanwhile, will need to overcome neighbours Wicklow next Saturday in Chadwicks Wexford Park if they are to gain promotion.
