In the O’Byrne Cup game played in Tullamore today Wexford outpointed Offaly on a score line of 0-16 to 01-13.
UCD defeated Laois and have two wins from 3 also but they defeated Wexford and have a better score difference so go through to semi finals. We await confirmation of this.
In the Walsh Cup 1st round NUI Galway defeated Laois 1-17 to 1-14.
This means that NUI Galway will now travel to the sunny south east to play Wexford in Rd 2 on Sunday next at 2pm.
