Cairde Loch Garman has gone from strength to strength in recent years with a growing worldwide membership. The official fundraising arm of Wexford GAA, with members from Dublin to Dubai and from Sydney to Savannah provides significant support for the Wexford GAA Strategic Plan.
The recent USA Sporting Package Prize Draw was organized by a subcommittee called the USA Friends of Wexford GAA with members including Eamonn Byrne, Larry Carroll, Cronan Dempsey, Martin Kehoe, John Murphy, Joe Morris and Adrian Fenlon supported by a wider membership of passionate Wexford supporters.
The draw was an immense success raising US$80,000 to support Wexford GAA’s investment in key strategic aims of inclusion, coaching and improved facilities such as Chadwicks Wexford Park.
All of our prize winners have now been contacted and have picked the sporting package of their choice.
Matthew Moore, Chicago, IL was first out of the drum and won the return flights to Ireland. Matthew chose the Notre Dame Package including two tickets for Notre Dame in the Aviva Stadium, two-nights’ accommodation in Dublin and four tickets for Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.
Bernie Ryan, Illinois won second prize and chose the All-Ireland Hurling Final Package including Hogan Stand tickets, 2 rounds of golf and 5 nights’ accommodation.
Third prize went to Mike and Caroline Carthy, New York who chose the All-Ireland Football Final Package including Hogan Stand tickets, 2 rounds of golf and 5 nights’ accommodation.
Stuart Stokes, New York won fourth prize and picked the NYC Sporting Weekend Package including 4 tickets to see the New York Giants, a round of golf and 2 nights’ accommodation in Manhattan, NY.
Paul Degnan, Canton, MA and chose the East Coast Golfing Package including 4 rounds of golf and 4 nights’ accommodation with thanks to Club Choice Ireland and Druids Glen Resort.
Sixth prize was won by Vivian Doyle, Chicago, IL and picked the VIP Weekend in Wexford including 4 tickets to a game in Chadwicks Wexford Park, a round of golf and 2 nights’ accommodation in Wexford with thanks to Visit Wexford.
The seventh and final prize of the VIP Package to Saratoga Race Track including 6 passes to the exclusive Cutwater Stretch was won by Joe Lucin, New York.
