The Wexford hurling championship roared back into life this August holiday weekend as Round 4 was played. In senior (Group B), county champions Oulart dispatched St Martin’s with ease making it four wins out of four for the champions. Glynn and St Anne’s played out a draw following a late, late Red Barry goal. In Group A, Shelmalier just about held on beating Adamstown by a point, while in the battle of the towns the Rapparees overcame the Harriers. Table toppers, Ferns (Group A)beat Oylegate by 5 points.
Over in the Intermediate championship there were wins for Gorey, Liam Mellows and Clongeen. In Junior there were impressive wins for St James, Tara Rocks and St Fintans. Full set of results for this weekend below.
