Statement from Wexford GAA on 19-08-20
Unfortunately due to the current restrictions in these unprecedented times, all adult fixtures this weekend must take place behind closed doors. These restrictions on attendances are outside of the control of Wexford GAA and we would appreciate all clubs and their supporters co-operation in this regard so competitions may continue. We will be contacting Club Card and Club+ Holders separately to advise them that they will no longer be able to attend their nominated club’s fixture.
As a result of these restrictions, it is necessary to postpone all Enniscorthy Farm Systems Junior and Junior ‘A’ Football Round 1 fixtures scheduled for this weekend to put appropriate arrangements in place to stage these fixtures. It is also necessary to postpone this evenings Enniscorthy District Junior B Hurling Quarter Finals.
All other fixtures proceed as per attached updated fixture list. Please note changes to some venues and throw-in times.
We remind all clubs to continue to follow all Covid-19 guidelines in preparation for these fixtures and as per GAA and government restrictions team training should continue on the basis of no more than 15 people (including coaches) in a designated area of the field.
Separate advice will be issued with respect to Coiste na nÓg fixtures and Go Games later this evening.
