Wexford Coaching and Games had 64 French students for GAA Games on Thursday last in Good Counsel College, New Ross where they were residing for a week. This is the third year we have introduced Gaelic Games to the students during their stay. They come from Moncountant in France which is twinned with New Ross.
Kevin Lyng organised the event in partnership with New Ross County Council. George O’Connor was on hand to introduce the game of hurling with small hurls.
Thanks to Good Council for the invitation and well done to all the Coaches. All involved had an inspirational introduction to Hurling and Football.
