A celebration of youth talent, teamwork & development through hurling and camogie
A Message from Adrian Fenlon
Chairperson, Hurling Advisory Committee
The schools’ sixth class inter-district competition presents a fantastic opportunity for boys and girls who have excelled in the Rackard League. It allows these young players to challenge themselves against the best of their peers, helping them develop their skills and understanding of the game in a competitive but supportive environment.
Beyond performance, it builds connections between players from different schools, encourages teamwork, and helps prepare them for the step into secondary school hurling and camogie.
This initiative is an important part of our player development pathway in Wexford, and a key step in helping clubs and schools work together to support the next generation.
Why This Tournament Matters – A Note from the Rackard League
The Rackard League has long stood for the development and enjoyment of hurling and camogie at primary school level. The District League is a natural extension — a tournament that brings the best players together for additional games, friendships, and progression.
It’s a huge honour for each player selected, and we’re excited to see the next generation of Wexford talent on show.
