Another year on and its SHEDFEST time again in the Community Indoor Arena in Buffers Alley. On Saturday 13th July young and old will come together for the annual night of music, fun and craic. Tickets costing €20 includes at BBQ ‘till12pm. with three bands to suit all tastes. Back by popular demand will be AbbeyFolk in addition to The Ropes and Revenge. There will be a Bar Extension with a DJ till late ensuring dancing will continue into the early hours!! Over 18s only and ID will be required. For the first time at SHEDFEST there will be a CROSSBAR CHALLENGE run in association with Doyle’s Garage, Courtown. All those who purchase a ticket at €20 in advance will be entered in a draw to participate in this challenge but for those who wish to do so on the night, they may purchase their admission ticket (€20) on the door but pay an additional €5 to be entered in the crossbar challenge draw. Six people will be drawn from the drum to get a kick at the crossbar and possibly come away with this attractive prize. Their task is to kick a rugby ball 40meters (45 yard line) and hit the crossbar to win €10,000!! (SIMPLE!!!!!!). Tickets are available from all members of the club.
