“Shane Fenlon 7 a side hurling tournament Saturday 6th june in aid of Hospice Homecare.On Saturday 6th june come along to Monagear Gaa pitch for the Shane Fenlon Perpetual cup in aid of Hospice Homecare. A great family day out is guarenteed. While the kids can enjoy the free entertainment on offer the adults can watch the the 12 teams battle it out to win the 7 a side hurling perpetual Cup.Teams on the day are :Monageer/Boolavogue, Blackwater,Rathnure,Glynn/Barntown,Shamrocks,Rapperees,Duffry Rovers, Oylegate,Faythe Harriers,Askamore and two select teams the ballagh Cousins and the Shane Fenlon Select team.This is a free family day out not to be missed.That night Monageer/Boolavogue will hold a summer fest in the Gaa Grounds with music and entertainment for over 18’s from 8pm till late. Tickets 5 euro can be got from any club member or just turn up on the night.”
