The Wexford footballers beat Roscommon today 1-12 to 1-10, this was despite kicking over 12 wides and allowing the westerners in for a late Donie Shine goal. In truth the scoreline flattered the visitors as Wexford were by far the superior side throughout. Wexford have set up a crunch meeting next week with Antrim in Belfast where a win or a draw will ensure promotion to Division 2 for the 2013 season!
