Speaking in the ‘Wexford People’ newspaper recently, Senior Hurling boss, Liam Dunne outlined plans to put in place a development squad, an approach with has been successfully used in other counties including Galway.
Dunne said “We will have a development squad, comprising players eligible for Intermediate along with Under-21 players. This will help to keep everyone involved. We will be having games within the squad, and every player will have an opportunity to impress.”
The first meeting of this squad will take place in the Halo Tiles Wexford GAA Centre of Excellence at Ferns this Saturday 28th November at 10:30am.
