Yesterday evening in Bellefield the County footballers opened the doors and invited children and adults to join them at traning and a great time was had by all!
The squad really are a
group of wonderful guys who were just so good with the kids that it was hard to believe – after all they are trying to prepare for Championship but every one of them was totally devoted to the kids they were working with. Lovely to see and they are a credit to themselves and to manager Jason Ryan – well done lads and the very best of luck against Longford on 3rd June.
And well done to Fergus the Wexford Mascot who was a bit hit as well handing out posters and lolipops and to Bellefield GAA who hosted the very special occasion. Full marks for this wonderful event!
