This week Wexford GAA Chairman, Diarmuid Devreaux launched what will be the new blueprint for the future success and development of the organisation in the county. This is an ambitious plan which sets out in detail exactly what the GAA in Wexford should look like in 2015. The task is to ensure that Wexford is once again a’Model County’ in terms of how we run and develop our games, setting the standard that others will follow!
The plan covers critical areas including: Governance, Administration and Operational Structures, County and Club Development, Finance and Fundraising, Fixtures and Games Schedule, Coaching and Player Development,Child Welfare and Best Practice, Marketing and Communication,Physical Development and Culture, Language and Community.
Wexford GAA has been through some tough times and now needs to ensure that everyone who loves our games is now pulling in the one direction. This plan is on a step along a long path to a rejuvenated Wexford GAA and will ensure the oranganiation remains at the heart of who we are as a people.
“Wexford, it’s who we are!”
