Wexford Minor Footballers took on Cork tonight (Tuesday 18th) in the 3rd round of the Leinster Minor Football League and despite putting in very positive 2nd half team performance they lost out by 4 points 0-10 to 0-14 at the final whistle, our young minors had an up hill battle to catch up on score wise when Cork went 6 points ahead in the opening 8 minutes. But even after this defeat the Minor football management team will take a lot of positives out of tonights performance from this hard working young Wexford team as they start their preperations for this seasons Minor Football Championship which kicks off on the 19th April against Louth in Drogheda.
