To all GAA clubs in Wexford,
The minor footballers are having a fund raising event to raise money for Suicide awareness charities.
Over 40 players who are looking to make the 2014 minor football squad are taking part in the Hell and Back challenge in Bray Co Wicklow on the 26th Jan 2014.
Please see attached invite poster for further details. To launch the event, we are having a launch night on Dec 7th, 6pm in Clonard Community centre.
We would appreciate if this poster could be put up in your clubhouse and all members made aware of this activity.
Also if you are still to hold you AGM we would appreciate that you mention this as an upcoming event to make people aware of what is happening.
The minor football squad would like a representative(s) from all the clubs in Wexford to attend- Hurling /Football on an issue like this there is no divide.
Most clubs have had to deal with this issue in the last few years and all we are trying to do is give a little back to those foundations that try reduce /eliminate this as a course as an option for far too many people.
We would hope that each club would sponsor the lads for this event, and if each club could give €50 we would be very grateful. Can all clubs send cheques to Wexford park made out to Coiste na Nog Loch Garman and also send an E Mail to [email protected] to
Any queries please do not hesitate to contact Marion Doyle, Runai, Wexford Coiste na Nóg, Wexford Park.
