The Leinster Final of Senior Scór was held in Ballymore, Co. Westmeath on Sunday 2nd April. Bannow Ballymitty represented Wexford in three categories – Solo-Singing, Ballad Group and Instrumental Music. Leona Reville sang a lovely rendition of James Connolly before being joined in the ballad group by Melanie Carthy, John Mernagh, Jessica Reville and Paul O’Sullivan. Here the group sang in beautiful harmony. They performed Wexford song, Cúchulainn’s Son and Billy Taylor. The Instrumental Music Group of Jessica, Tom & Leona Reville Dearbhla Daly and Paul O’Sullivan performed wonderfully to win a Leinster Final for their club, Bannow Ballymitty. Best of Luck to the group in the All Ireland in Belfast on May 6th.
